Change: It's a commin'!
While we've been pleased to offer our clients the services and products that we have to this point, we think we can do better, so we are. In the coming weeks you'll see a new Rich Imaging. One that is more dynamic, more innovative, and more creative. All in all, we think you'll like it. Hopefully, quite a bit.
Keep your eyes peeled for the new Rich Imaging and let us know what you think when it comes around!
Cheers,
Mark & Judy

Emilie & Stephanie's Portraits
Here's the slide show: If you want to see it full-sized, click here!
About a week ago I met Jenny and her two girls, Emilie & Stephanie, at Juanita Bay Park in Kirkland - in the pouring rain! Well, we were very blessed that the downpour lightened up and even stopped for a few minutes for us. We were able to get some great shots.
At the end I asked the girls if they wanted to be done or if they wanted to keep taking pictures. I was so surprised when Stephanie said she wanted to go change her clothes and take more pictures! Her mom told me that neither of them were usually very keen on having their picture taken. As you can see below they seem to have warmed up to the idea quite nicely!
Well, girls, I had a great time with you at the park. I think we should go again sometime!
Be sure to check back for a slide show with all the rest of the pictures!
Cheers,

Veater Family Portraits
You can also check out the full version here: http://richimaging.net/Slideshow/VeaterFamilySession/
On Sunday night I met up with a great family for some family photos. Steven, Ashley, and Kirsten met me at Picnic Point Park in Mukilteo. I took a few moments to warm up to Kirsten (or was it the other way around? :) and then we headed off to get started. Here are a few shots from our session:
Kirsten was such a patient little girl during our session, especially considering that we ended up cutting into her bedtime by a few minutes! Ashley & Steven, thanks for meeting me for the session and I really hope you enjoy your pictures!
Check out the link at the top of the post for the slide show!

Lewis Family Portraits
Klayton & Lindsey are always fun and we enjoy hanging out with their family quite a bit, even if Ephraim's a bit of a stinker about getting his picture taken. @Ephraim: Way to hang in there, bud!
(He's the coolest, didn't you know? Just ask Ephraim.)
After he and Ezra found these big leaves he had a good time playing with his.
A good enough time that we were even able to get a good picture or two!
He even SMILED!!!
I have wanted to do portraits of Klayton & Lindsey together for about as long as we've known them, so I'm really glad that we got the opportunity to do this session.
Aren't they just a beautiful couple!
Klayton & Lindsey, you really have one of the most loving, beautiful famlies I can think of. Judy and I are proud to know you and blessed to be your friends. May God continue to bless you and may He grow little Ziva Jewel into a healthy, strong little girl.
Be blessed,
-Mark

Taiyo's Senior Session
UPDATE: Everyone, be sure to click HERE for a slideshow of the images!

*********
"Are you here for senior pictures?", the stranger asked assertively.
"If you're Taiyo I am." Sure enough, this was Taiyo and his older sister Emi. This was the first time we'd ever met. And, since neither of us had ever been to Gasworks Park before, we decided to familiarize ourselves with its environment. After meandering about the place for a few minutes we commenced our session, eventually being serenaded by the marching band practicing on the other side of the park. It was almost like a sound track for our session... Almost.
At any rate, we had fun and got to know each other a bit in the mean time. I found out that we are both from families of seven. Well, ok... I have seven people in my family and Taiyo and Emi have seven in theirs. Seven kids, that is. I suppose that's close enough. :) I also found out that Taiyo is in student government and is taking on a role this year with more responsibility and much more commitment than the one he was in last year. Very cool.
Something else I picked up on is that Emi loves photography... which came in really handy 'cause, as it turned out, I was in need of an assistant. Thanks, Emi! You did great!
I suppose that's enough background... Let's see some photos!
Taiyo, it was a lot of fun hanging out with you and Emi yesterday. I hope you and your family like this taste of the images we created.
Emi, thanks for being such a willing impromptu assistant. :0)
Everyone, you can click HERE for a slideshow of the images.
Cheers,

Ryder's 1-Year-Old Session
So, I have to admit, I'm really starting to enjoy working with babies! This past Sunday I had a 1-year session with Ryder and his parents, Ross & Mindi. The sun was out, the beach was clear, and there was a slight breeze to top it all off. It doesn't get any better than that! ...Especially when you've got such a cute kid to have fun with!
Here are a few of the shots we made of Ryder down at the beach. Believe me, it was not easy to single these out! He also seemed to be quite at home, which really made things go so smoothly:

Newborn Session with David Danger!
Before I get into the session we just did with our friends Joey, Beth, and little baby David Danger, I want to give you a little background info...
A few months back my wife Judy and I were talking about starting to do newborn photo sessions. I distinctly remember telling her that I didn't want to do them because I thought they would be too big of a hassle and would not be any fun.
Well, David Danger has just proved me wrong in a big way! We had such a great time with him and his parents on Monday night that I just cannot wait to do our next newborn session! (Yes, that's two exclamation points in a row...excessive exclamation mark warning!)
So, here are a few selections from the session that I thought you'd want to see. He is such a beautiful boy! Take a gander:
Joey and Beth, we had such a great time with you and little David Danger. I hope you really love these as much as I do - he's such a wonderful little guy! Congratulations!
Cheers,
